If someone would ask me "wasn't it the worst to have a second goodbye?" I would say "no, it wasn't.". I decided to go home over christmas and new years eve and I do not regret it at all. I talked to many other au pairs and everyone would wonder if anything had changed when they get back home. To be honest, I've never really thought about it. You know.. when I think about home, I think about the house where I live in, my family, my friends, the area and all those little things. I know my family won't change, my friends neither. So it wasn't a surprise when I got back home. Everything would be the same. I've had a lovely time and I enjoyed every minute of it. I hardly slept since I made use of all the time I had in germany. Thanks to everyone who made those days unforgettable, thanks for being the same, thanks for being the BEST.♥The goodbye hadn't been that hard for me. I knew what I had to expect and I had no reason to be scared or sad. The support I get from my hostfamily and all those litle lovely things I experience each day here in the US is wonderful. I coulnd't imagine someone better. I'm happy to be able to say I got an awesome second family. THANKS.
